ICFF and Wanted by Design at NYCxDESIGN

Summer arrived in New York in time for NYCxDesign this month. Across the city some of the best of new American and international art and design was presented; the week started with Freize Art Fair (a sister to the original London show) and culminated in the International Contemporary Furniture Fair and the newer Wanted Design.
ICFF continues to showcase the best in cutting edge design. Some favorites included Sharon Sides for Bespoke Global – killer brass work; Studio CJWA for Amuneal – stunning woodwork and Amuneal duked it out with MOOI for our ‘Best Booth’ vote. And the British Invasion continues! On the heels of such names as Tom Dixon, the newest in Brit design displayed their best….
Now in its 3rd year WANTED presented great new talent and some tried and true artisans – our friend David Trubridge showed some of his classic originals and love the new HUSH collection. Bernhardt’s ‘Human Touch’ project featured silk dyeing and painting by Brooklyn artists Danny Song and Makoto Kishino – stunning.
Thank you NYCxDesign for getting us inspired!!
